Trip of a lifetime!

Wow.
Just wow.
Europe was utterly breathtaking, and I cannot wait to return one day. My trip finished a little under two months ago, and it's taken me that long to figure out what to say. Yet all I can think to say is wow.
As I had just finished school before leaving for Europe and the UK, I hadn't had the time to plan my own trip as I would have liked. So a friend and I booked a "European Quest" through Contiki, a travel groups for ages 18 to 35. I have to say, for traveling on my own for the first time - and in a completely different continent I might add - it was a rather stress-free way to do it. I didn't have to worry about where I was going to stay, or how to travel between cities. All I had to do was worry about enjoying myself! And boy did I do that. Some of the highlights of the trip were Paris, Nice, and all of Italy (but more to come on the specifics in later posts).
